Desert Shadows is a series of photographs taken from walks around the city of Dubai. I stopped in those empty areas that are between one building and another. Areas still in construction, or places that have remained that way. I became interested in the objects I found either from waste of consumption or construction remains. The shadows that are projected from my body on the sand and that generate the frame to each found object, give account for the light, the sun, the climate and the geography of these cities. These photographs were produced during the Artist-In-Residence Program at Art Dubai.
